- why being dangerous is the only way to win
why being dangerous is the only way to win
nothing is more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose,
but what about the man with resources?
shouldn’t a motivated man with resources be the most dangerous?
since when is a motivated lone warrior more dangerous than a general with an army?
the reason people make this fallacy, is because to them the one with nothing to lose has no fear of risk,
that they have no choice but to move forward.
and in turn, they think the man with resources has a lot to lose. and therefore won’t take risky action.
but that makes no sense.
because it assumes that once a man has gained a lot, he loses his hunger for more.
but some men just want more.
and the man with all the resources AND the hunger for more, is the most dangerous thing on this planet.
more of what you ask?
more challenge, more money, more autonomy.
just, more.
and often this pursuit of more is misinterpreted as deep unhappiness,
like the person who “has it all” and is still getting after more is missing something,
or has a hole within them.
but that is just cope.
cope from the one who never accomplished anything.
it’s a lot easier to label someone incomplete or lost,
rather than go after their own dreams.
to judge another man who keeps going after “more” from a stance of moral superiority,
while having done nothing yourself,
is a tell tale sign of nihilistic desperation.
here is a difficult question to be honest about:
have you ever judged anyone who didn’t seem to quit?
have you ever labelled them as lesser because “nothing makes them happy”?
if you have, it’s cool. we all have.
but ask yourself, what if YOU could be that one in constant pursuit of more.
imagine if you collected yourself and dedicated your entire energy and focus to more.
more memories.
more money.
more autonomy.
more generosity.
imagine how dangerous you could be.
the very thought of you,
living rent free in the minds of those who couldn’t dare dream of something better for themselves.
you might think,
why would i want to be dangerous, isn’t that a bad thing?
wrong.
dangerous is power. and if you want to accomplish anything positive in this world, you need to have some power.
you need to be dangerous to the status quo.
the only way a business owner gets market share is by being a danger to the competition.
so don’t let anyone fool you into thinking being dangerous is morally inferior.
ask yourself,
what if I could be my most dangerous self?
one who is hungry for more out of this world,
and continues to be hungry until the end.
what if that could be you?
what would you accomplish?
