From $800 Profit to $1,000,000 Profit. Here is how I did it.
I am not holding anything back.
I was reading an old journal entry of mine from March 14, 2022. At that time, I had just started my current e-commerce store, maybe only 4 months prior. Below is an excerpt:
It reads:
It’s been a [hell of a] month. February was a great month. [Business Name] made a profit of maybe $800 since I had to return/refund some orders. Realizing I had to make those returns was so stressful. I have been in a constant roller coaster since I moved [to Montreal]. I feared how my customers would react to the [errors I made leading to refunds] but they were surprisingly kind. I’ve made so many [changes to the site to add value to the customer]. Most likely in the wrong order. I moved the entire site to shopify on my own. It took 3 days. Google ads are running, but my conversion rate isn’t that good…
That was me, journaling my thoughts to maintain my sanity.
While also everyday waking up in a state of excitement and stress.
Most days I had simple tasks like: answer emails from leads and Google what to do next to grow my business.
I made e-books because 30 blog sites told me it’s a value add to my products.
That didn’t work.
I made crazy spin-the-wheel pop-ups to get peoples emails and offer them a coupon.
That didn’t work.
I put massive discounts on my products and tried to compete on price…
That didn’t work that well either.
I was doing everything the internet was telling me to do to grow my business, and NOTHING WAS WORKING.
Then it occurred to me.
By copying what the entire internet is telling you to do, all that is happening, is you are copying the same tired tropes that EVERYONE ELSE is trying.
Did you know that only 5% of E-commerce stores are successful.
And “success” is relative, my $800 a month could be considered a successful store, it all depends on your definition.
In reality, many online businesses never make their first sale.
It’s not just a problem in the online business world, nearly all brick and mortar businesses fail as well.
This problem extends to professional services.
The average licensed real estate agent sells two homes a year. That’s below minimum wage in most places. Even making one sale puts you in the top bracket because most who get their license never even make a sale to begin with.
Why is the failure rate so high? A big reason is because businesses and people copy what EVERYONE ELSE is doing.
It feels safe to do this. The logic is, if EVERYONE else is doing it then is must be the correct thing.
BUT, if statistically, if nearly EVERYONE is failing, my brother in Christ why are you copying them?
Wouldn’t it make sense to do something different?
I think so.
Now you might be thinking, Ok Vessal, but what do I do?
I get it.
I was there too.
You don’t know what you don’t know.
When I was making $800 a month in profit, I didn’t even know what the next step was.
It wasn’t until I met my business mentor that my trajectory changed.
I am being very blunt here, I would have fucked it all up, derailed the entire thing and sabatoged all that I have built were it not for the mentors I met along the way.
And I never would have built a $30,000,000+ a year business in under 3 year without the right guidance.
I know what you are thinking:
“VESSAL WHAT DID YOUR MENTORS TEACH YOU…TELL US YOU GREEDY BASTARD!”
Fine.
That is exactly what I will do.
Over the next 10 weeks, I am going to drop 10 lessons I learned that took me from $800 a month in profit, to $1,000,000 a month in profit.
And yep. That information is free.
No guru bullshit. This is stuff I actually did and continue to do.
No $497 course at the end revealing the REAL SECRET. (none of what I am going to share is a secret).
While my examples may be about my online businesses, the principles will apply to any business or self employed career.
That’s it. In 10 lessons over 10 weeks.
To be released Sundays at 7pm EST. Mark your calendars.
