$100,000+ a Day

Six figures.

What a sexy number. I remember when my dream was to make six figures in salary.

Coming from a modest, low income family that number was life changing.

I was 28 and hustling each day to get my business “idea” operational.

At this point I was making some money, I could afford my rent and simple groceries.

It was a good life.

But I had yet to hit 100K in total sales for my business, I was maybe 5 months in.

I think it was in April 2022 that I finally hit 100k in total sales.

I was ectatic, I messaged all of my boys.

Some were very happy for me.

Some didn’t say anything (a topic I will cover later).

But it was a huge deal.

Fast forward to August 2022, I hit my first ever $100k month in gross revenue.

It was such a big deal that my younger brother got it tattooed on his leg

That was such a transformative month for me.

My entire idea of what’s possible changed.

I realized that with entrepreneurship, the sky is the limit.

As corny as it may sound, the first step is to get your mindset correct.

If you think of progress ONLY as 10K to 30K, then all you need to do is work more hours.

But if think of going from 10K to 100K, you have to completely rethink your strategy

It’s only with that way of thinking that I now have regular 100K DAYS. And a personal best of 209K in a day.

Below is a revenue image of August 26, 27, 28, each day above 100K. No sales or promos, just regular days.

And below is the best day we had, just recently on July 3rd 2024 due to an Independence Day promotion.

The funny thing is, I work fewer hours these days than I did during the 40k per month days.

That’s what it means to be a real entrepreneur or business owner vs a hustler.
You need the hustler mindset to get going, but you need to outgrow that mentality otherwise it will bottleneck you. (I will speak on this in future posts)

But back to my main point,

I had to shift my entire way of thinking to even have a chance at making the revenue I do now.

I read this amazing book last year called 10x is Easier Than 2x. The entire premise of the book is what I was describing above.

Suppose your business is doing $10,000 in revenue per month and you want to grow.

You make your goal $20,000 a month.

Double, amazing.

But it’s actually harder for you to accomplish $20,000 than say, $100,000.

Why?

Because in order to hit $20,000, you will simply DO 2x more. You will work longer hours, spend more on ads, etc. It will leave you burnt out and you will eventually slow down and fall back to your previous numbers, or you will quit.

But what would you have to do to get to $100,000? You can’t just work 10x more, there are only so many hours in one day.

In order to hit that number, your entire approach needs to change.

You need to create systems, make strategic hires, and open up your time to money-making activities ONLY.

I highly recommend you read the book. It was pivotal to my quick rise.

Till next time,
